Guests enjoy this lovely, residential neighborhood, with its shady streets and historic homes. Nearby are Tulane and Loyola Universities, famous restaurants, music spots, antique shops, and art galleries. Scenic Audubon Park is a wonderful spot to quietly stroll among the ancient, spreading live oak trees.

The Audubon Park House is few blocks to the St. Charles Avenue streetcar. A ride to downtown, convention centers and the French Quarter, past many mansions of the 19th century, takes about 30 minutes. Uptown by streetcar, guests can visit the attractive Riverbend area with its charming bistros and specialty shops.

Your host is a talented harpist and is very interested in the Welsh language. Guests like to chat, choose from the in-house library or just relax in the communal sitting room of this simple, yet spacious, turn-of-the-century home. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. You host's outdoor deck is a great place to enjoy her garden that focuses on indigenous tropicals. Comfortable bedrooms have private baths. Continental breakfast conversation and are shared in the inviting breakfast area that overlooks the back yard garden. Local ordinance limits us to continental breakfast only. Children are welcome. Great for the economy minded.
